My Story
Through my university study of materials science, I learned about metals on a molecular level. Years later, when I began using metal as an artistic medium, it clicked. Understanding what was happening within the material's structure while physically shaping it with my hands unlocked a stream of inspiration and excitement.
Process
Silversmithing has been my primary fascination. I use a combination of fabrication techniques, wax carving, and metal casting.
Ethos
To put it simply, my practice is about following my curiosity and creating with my hands. Hexmetallic is the vehicle for sharing the outcomes of this practice with others.
Artist Statement
My artistic practice helps me understand the world. Through the process of creation, I feel connected to something ancient—something that restores hope and brings joy.
